No.  hireAbility job search services are free to job seekers and employers.

Who may receive assistance from hireAbility?
Job seekers must be persons with disabilities, must have marketable job skills, and must be able to perform the essential functions of the jobs they seek, with reasonable accommodation, if necessary.  All employers are welcome to contact us with their talent needs.

Yes, hireAbility helps people with all forms of disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Yes, hireAbility will help you create your resume and learn how to tailor it to fit different job descriptions.
 
Can hireAbility help me prepare for interviews?
Yes, hireAbility staff and volunteers from employers in the region will help with interview preparation, practice interviews and interview coaching sessions.

What is the average time to find a job?
About five months from the first interview to landing a job.

Does hireAbility offer any level of skills training?
The only training that hireAbility does is with job search skills.  If a job seeker needs additional training, hireAbility will help the job seeker contact other state and private service providers.

How will employment affect my social security benefits?
hireAbility helps job seekers direct all questions about benefits to the PA Disability Rights Network or a benefits counselor in the NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services.

Can you place or accommodate interns?
Yes, hireAbility does help college students with disabilities find internships.

How is hireAbility funded?
hireAbility receives income from federal and state government sources, from foundations, grantmakers, corporate donors and individual donors.

What geographic area does hireAbility serve?
PA:  Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties
NJ:  Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Mercer, Salem, Cumberland and Atlantic Counties
